CLINICAL SERVICES
IPA Worldwide
Utilizing Functional Manual Therapy™ (FMT) as a foundation, IPA Manhattan Physical Therapy and CFMT’s worldwide are providing unparalleled treatment to patients. The IPA family of Certified Functional Manual Therapists is currently changing patient’s lives in the United States, India, Japan, and Poland. IPA Manhattan Physical Therapy and Johnson and Johnson Physical Therapy in Steamboat Springs are the two IPA Flagship locations.
RESEARCH
Clinical and Institutional
The non-profit arm of the IPA, The Functional Manual Therapy Foundation, is committed to both clinical and institutional research. The FMT Foundation’s mission is to determine the validity of methods and procedures currently utilized in physical therapy and support the development of preventative interventions. In addition, the FMT Foundation promotes Institutional research to delve into the physiological, neurological, and biochemical processes which underpin manual therapy approaches for patient care
GIVING BACK
FMT Foundation Benevolence Fund
The FMT Foundation was established as a non-profit organization established exclusively for charitable, educational, or scientific purposes within the meaning of 501 (C) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. An exciting aspect of the FMT Foundation is the FMT Benevolence Fund which supports the delivery of quality physical therapy to those who otherwise could not afford this care. This fund is supported by patients whose lives have been changed by FMT and wish to “pay it forward”. For more information on how to support this fund, please contact the Chairman, Vicky Saliba Johnson, PT, at vicky@fmtfoundation.org.
